Inspired by a true legal case in Hong Kong, the prosecutor follows the story of a man who was falsely found guilty of drug trafficking after framing. Despite the confession, a veterans policeman, who has become chairman (Donnie Yen), is convinced of the man’s innocence and satisfies his investigation, risking both his career and life to attract a true accuser.
